Biography

2010-11: Named co-captain... won the 50 freestyle (24.67) and the 100 freestyle (53.94) and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay team against Vermont (Oct. 16)...swam anchor leg of winning 200 medley relay team against Boston College (Oct. 29)...finishd fourth in the 50 freestyle (24.60), eigth in the 100 freestyle (54.56) and was a member of the third-place 200 medley relay team at the CAA Pod Meet (Nov. 6-7)...finished fourth in the 40 freestyle (24.29) and was a member of the second-place 200 medley relay team, the second-place 200 freestyle relay team and the fifth-place 400 freestyle relay team at the Terrier Invitational (Nov. 19-21)...claimed first in the 100 freestyle (53.64) against Massachusetts (Dec. 4)...won the 50 freestyle in 25.10 against Siena (Jan. 22)...claimed second in the 50 freestyle (24.73) and third in the 100 freestyle (53.57) and was a member of the second-place 200 medley relay team in a tri-meet against Dartmouth and Rhode Island (Feb. 5)...member of the eighth-place 200 medley relay team, the eighth-place 400 freestyle relay team, the eighth-place 200 freestyle relay team and 400 medley relay team that fnished seventh and set a new school record at the CAA Championship (Feb. 23-26).

2009-10:
Did not compete due to injury.

2008-09:
Placed third in the 50 (24.72) and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle events and was part of the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams against Boston College (Oct. 17)...won the 50-yard freestyle and came in second in the 100-yard freestyle (53.84) and was part of the first-place 200 medley relay team in a tri-meet against Maine and Cental Connecticut State (Oct. 25)... took fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (24.56) and ninth in the 100 freestyle (54.81) and was part of the third-place 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams in a pod meet (Oct. 31-Nov. 1)... came in fifth in the 50 freestyle (24.18) and seventh in the 100 freestyle (52.88) and was part of the third-place 200 freestyle and 400 medley relay teams at the Terrier Invitational (Nov. 21-23)...won the 50-yard freestyle (24.56) and came in fourth in the 100 freestyle (54.31), part of the winning 200 medley and the second-place 400 freestyle relay teams against Massachusetts (Dec. 6)... tied for first in the 50 freestyle (24.83), took third in the 100 freestyle and part of the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams versus James Madison (Jan. 10)... finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (25.03) and part of the second-place 400 freestyle and 200 medley relay teams in a tri-meet against Boston University and New Hampshire (Jan. 17)...won the 50 freestyle (24.60) and part of the first-place 400 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams against Vermont (Jan. 24)...finished first in the 50 (24.64) and third in the 100 (54.22) freestyle events and was part of the second-place 400 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams against Dartmouth (Feb. 7)...broke three Husky records as part of the eighth-place 400 (3:29.08) and sixth-place 200 (1:34.23) freestyle relay teams and by swimming the first 50-yards of the 200 freestyle relay in 23.57, also took 11th in the 50 (23.79) and 16th in the 100 (52.49) freestyle events, and part of the seventh-place 400 medley relay team at the CAA Championship (Feb. 25-28).

2007-08: Part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team in pod meet vs. Old Dominion and Delaware...helped the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams take second at the Terrier Invitational (Nov. 16)...placed second in the 50 freestyle (25.10) against James Madison (Jan. 5)...placed second in the 50 freestyle (24.75) against Boston University and New Hampshire (Jan. 19)...finished 15th in the 50 freestyle (24.68), 19th in the 100 freestyle (53.49), swam a leg on the fifth-place 400 freestyle relay team and the seventh-place 200 freestyle relay team at the CAA Championship (Feb. 27-March 1).

Before NU: Attended University of Connecticut before coming to NU...Varsity swimmer for four years at Reading High...captained the team her senior year and was named All-League...set school records for the 50 freestyle, and as a member 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams...team was conference champions.

Personal: Born Sept 1, 1988...graduated Northeastern with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism...Class of 2011.
