2012-13: Member of the winning 200 medley relay team, placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.95), earned a third-place spot in the 200 breaststroke (2:25.02) and was a member of the fifth place 400 freestyle relay against New Hampshire in the season-opener (Oct. 27)...Member of the third-place 400 medley relay and second-place 200 medley relay quartet, finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.44) and third in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.40) in the CAA Pod meet (vs. ODU, Towson and George Mason on Nov. 2-3)...Swam the second leg of the seventh-place 400 medley relay (3:51.05) and the sixth-place 200 medley relay quartets, grabbed a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.25) and a 17th place finish (2:20.63) in the 200 breaststroke in the Nike Cup in Chapel Hill, N.C. (Nov. 15-17)...Member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:48.46), won the 100 breaststroke (1:05.82) and placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:24.57) against UMass on Dec. 1...Second place in the 200 medley relay, won the 100 breaststroke (1:05.85) and came in second in the 200 breaststroke (2:26.45) in the CAA tri-meet against Drexel and Delaware (Jan. 12).

2011-12: Placed ninth in the finals of the 100 breastroke at the CAA Championship (1:03.79). Swam breastroke leg of the ninth place relay at the CAA Championship (1:45.51). Swam breastroke leg of the eight place relay at the CAA Championship (3:46.86) which was also a new record for Northeastern. Placed first in the 100 breastroke (1:06.03) in tri-meet against Dartmouth and Rhode Island. Placed fifth (1:05.15) in the Terrier Invite. Placed third in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.33), fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.96), seventh in the 200 IM (2:15.00) and was a member of the third-place 200  medley relay team in season-opening meet against BC and Houston (Oct. 15)...Member of winning 400 medley relay team and swam the 200 breaststroke as an exhibition (2:29.92) against Bryant (Oct. 26)...took 7th in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.71), seventh in the 200 breastroke (2:27.73) and was a member of the eighth-place 200 medley relay team at the CAA Pod Meet (Nov. 4-5).
 
2010-11: Won the 100 breastroke (1:02.88) at the Terrier Invite qualifying for the NCAA B cut and second in the 200 breastroke (2:28.98.) and was a member of the eighth-place 200 medley relay team and 400 medley relay team that finished seventh while setting a new school record at the CAA Championship (Feb. 23-26).?Won the 100 yard breaststroke (1:05.37) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:25.67) and swam the second leg of the winning 200 yard medley relay team against Vermont (Oct. 16)...claimed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.43) and 200 breaststroke (2:25.46) and swam the second leg of the winning 200 medley relay team against Boston College (Oct. 29)...placed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.08), fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:25.86) and 15th in the 200 IM (2:17.43) and was a member of the third-place 200 medley relay at the CAA Pod Meet (Nov. 6-7)...claimed first in the 50 yard breaststroke (30.83) and 100 breaststroke (1:06.42) and was a member of the first-place 200 medley relay team against Massachusetts (Dec. 4)...Claimed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.12) and first in 200 breaststroke (2:26.07) against Siena (Jan. 22)...placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.83), fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:30.25) and was a member of the second-place 200 medley relay team in a tri-meet against Dartmouth and Rhode Island (Feb. 5).
 
Before NU: Swam varsity for four years...captained one season at Sir Francis Drake High School...2009 All-American in the 200 medley relay and 100 breaststroke...2010 All-American 100 breaststroke..set school record for 200 medley relay.
 
Personal: Born April 22, 1992...Class of 2015...Majoring in communication studies and minoring in Business Administration ... Older sister Elena Alvarez swam for Northeastern from 2005-2009 ... Twin sister, Lilian, is captain of the UC-Davis swimming & diving team.
