2018-2019: Finished fifth in both the 200Y medley relay (1:49.76) and the 200Y butterfly (2:09.80) at the Boston University tri meet (Oct.6) ... Placed fourth in the 200Y butterfly (2:09.22), sixth in the 200Y IM (2:15.83), and seventh in the 100Y butterfly (59.81) at the Boston College tri meet (Oct. 20) ... Finished second in the 200Y butterfly (2:09.12), fourth in the 100Y butterfly (58.85), fifth in the 200Y medley relay (1:50.68) and sixth in the 200Y freestyle relay (1:42.24) at Columbia (Nov. 3) ...Came in eighth in the 800Y freestyle relay (7:44.83) at the Terrier Invitational (Nov. 16-18) ... 2017-18: Won the 200Y IM (2:11.81), and earned a time of 2:10.59 in the 200Y butterfly and 1:00.04 in the 100Y butterfly against Wagner at NU’s parents and alumnae weekend (Oct. 6-7)… Took second in the 200Y butterfly (2:09.49) at James Madison (Oct. 21)… Won the 200Y butterfly (2:06.52) against Boston University (Nov. 8)… Earned a time of 2:07.40 in the 200Y IM, 57:64 in the 100Y butterfly and 2:05.72 in the 200Y butterfly at the Frank Elm Invitational (Nov. 17)… Won the 200Y butterfly (2:05.96) and took 2nd in the 100Y butterfly (58.01) at New Hampshire (Dec. 2)… Placed 3rd in the 200Y butterfly (2:10.48) and 6th in the 100Y butterfly (1:00.85) at Vermont (Jan. 13)…  Finished 3rd in the 200Y butterfly (2:09.13) against Central Connecticut (Jan. 20)… Won the 100Y butterfly (57.47) at the Boston University Winter Open (Feb. 9-10)… Earned a time of 56.94 in the 100Y butterfly at the CAA Championships (Feb. 14-17)

Before NU: Two-time team MVP... Three-time First Team State All-Star... Two-time Second Team State All-Star... Personal: Plans to major in Bioengineering, with a cell and tissue concentration and a minor in Mathematics... Uncle, Keo Nakama, is a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
