Biography
2009-10: Placed fifth in the 1000 freestyle (11:18.40) Dec. 5 against Massachusetts…Was part of team that took eighth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:42.93) Nov. 6-8 against Old Dominion, James Madison, and William and Mary…Took fifth in the 1000 freestyle (11:11.09) Oct. 30 against Boston College…Finished fifth in the 1000 freestyle (11:24.54) and eighth in the 500 freestyle (5:29.92) in the season opening tri-meet against Central Connecticut State and Maine on Oct. 17.
2008-09: Came in seventh in the 200 (2:02.71) and 500 (5:31.32) freestyle events against BC on Oct. 17... finished 17th in the 200 freestyle (2:02.17) and 19th in the 500 freestyle (5:31.26) in a pod meet Oct. 31-Nov. 1... took 22nd in the 100 butterfly (1:01.03) at the Terrier Invitational Nov. 21-23...was part of the fifth-place 400 freestyle relay team against UMass on Dec. 6... swam as part of the fifth-place 400 freestyle relay team vs. James Madison Jan. 10...took ninth in the 200 IM (2:20.59) in a tri-meet against BU & UNH Jan. 17...was part of the fourth-place 200 freestyle relay team against Vermont Jan. 24.
High School: Swam varsity for four years, serving as captain for one year...High Point Swimmer all four years...All-State Swimmer 2005-07 in 100, 200 and 500 freestyle...holds school records in 100, 200 and 500 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 200 and 400 free relay...team was Eastern Connecticut champ 2004-07, state runner-up 2006-07.
