Northeastern University Athletics

Lia Raynowska was named Assistant Director of Athletic Communications on March 3, 2025, for Northeastern Athletics. She serves as the primary media contact for the Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and Men’s Rowing programs.  

She joins Northeastern after spending time as the Assistant Athletic Communication Director at Saint Anselm College in Manchester New Hampshire. With Saint Anselm, she served as the primary contact for 12 varsity level sports.  

Before Saint Anselm, Raynowska worked as a Graduate Assistant to Athletic Communications at Colby-Sawyer College during the 2023-24 Academic year, assisting with game event management.  

Prior to being the Graduate Assistant at Colby-Sawyer, Raynowska served as a student-intern for the Colby-Sawyer Athletics' Office where she assisted game operations, athletic communications and intramural sports.  

Raynowska graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a Coaching Certification. Raynowska is expected to graduate with her Master’s in Business Administration in May of this year. She is originally from Brentwood, N.H.
