Katie Delude joined the Northeastern Sports Medicine staff in 2014 and is currently the coordinator of care for women’s hockey. She is also responsible for coordinating sports performance staff education courses, conferences, and sponsorships.
Prior to arriving at Northeastern, she was a graduate assistant at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. She completed her master’s degree in advanced athletic training at Texas State and worked with the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams. As part of her master’s degree, she conducted research thesis to investigate the effects of motor imagery on functional postural balance.
Prior to Texas State, Delude was an intern at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. There she worked for a year with the women’s soccer team and men’s and women’s tennis teams.
Delude completed her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at Springfield College in 2011. She is a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
