Before NU: Captained the Oakville Junior Hornets during the 2012-13 season, where she tallied 13 goals and 12 assists in 28 games … Also played two seasons for the Burlington Junior Barracudas under coach Steve Gibson, helping the team to two straight top four finishes in league play … Potted 22 goals and 30 assists in 58 career games with Burlington, and was among the top four scoring leaders during both of her seasons … Also played soccer in high school.

Personal: Born to Peter and Rebecca Scamurra … Has three siblings, Jared, Colin and Travis … Father Peter played four seasons in the NHL with the Washington Capitals … Plans to major in Psychology … Class of 2018.
