Biography
2019: Stroked the second varsity four boat to a time of 6:59.00, claiming fourth in the grand final at the Doc Hosea Invite (March 30) … Stroked the second varsity four boat to a time of 8:16.908 at the Council Cup (April 6) … The four sear for the varsity four B, helped the boat to a time of 9:20.6 at the Woodbury Cup (April 13) … Stroked the third varsity to fifth place finish (7:10.389) at the Eastern Sprints (May 5) … Was the stroke seat for the third varsity as they took victory with a time of 7:14.088 at the CAA Championships (May 19).
2017: In the seven seat, helped the novice eight to a seven-second victory at the Murphy Cup (Mar. 25) with a time of 6:51.60 … Stroked the third varsity to a first place finish over Michigan State and Massachusetts (Apr. 22) with a time of 7:13.269 … Was the three seat for the third varsity at the CAA Championships (May 14), winning the race by three seconds with a time of 7:04.530.
Before NU: Hermann has rowed for Liz Trond at the Connecticut Boat Club for three years. She won two events at the Northeast Regionals last spring, and rowed for the U.S. Rowing Southeast Junior Development Camp last summer. Hermann is an honor student, and plans to study communications at Northeastern.
Wilhelm says: "Brooke is a talented athlete who has really come into her own over the past year. She has worked hard to get stronger and fitter, and her performance in the boat is the result of those efforts."
