Before NU: Began rowing in recreational camps in 6th grade ... Began coxing competitively in high school for a rapidly growing club in Sarasota, Sarasota Crew ... Served as cox for the men’s lightweight 8+ in 2009 placing second at the Southeast Regional Championship ... Elected captain of Sarasota Crew for the 2009-10 year and received the Scholar-Athlete Achievement for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons
