Biography
Before NU: Trained and raced with Team USA for flatwater sprint kayaking...in high school she competed in surf-ski kayaking where she placed 2nd in states for the 2k distances...also paddled on her school’s outrigger canoe paddling team and sat 4th seat in the varsity crew as a sophomore, then 3rd seat junior year and then started to train full time with the Hawaii Canoe Kayak Team and then Team USA...other notable sports she played in high school were soccer, inline hockey, cross country and water polo.
Personal: Chemical engineering major...enjoys traeling, going to the beach, playing with dogs, skiing, hiking and reading anything that has to do with nutrition or health.
