“I am thrilled to welcome Abby to Northeastern as our newest assistant coach,” remarked Phillips. “She brings a wealth of coaching and playing experiences that will be invaluable to our staff and program. Abby’s deep knowledge of the game, keen attention to detail and inquisitive mindset will be tremendous assets as we continue to grow and evolve.”

“Beyond her expertise, Abby is the perfect fit for the Northeastern community. Her innovative spirit and dedication to continuous learning align seamlessly with our institution’s mission. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the impact she will make.”

Carchio joins the Huskies after spending the past season as the interim head coach at Roger Williams University. Carchio helped guide the Hawks to a 9-5-6 overall record and had three student-athletes named to all-conference teams.

Prior to her time at Roger Williams, Carchio played professionally in Europe for four years, with stops in France, Denmark, Iceland, Lithuania and Ireland. She owns a UEFA B Coaching license.

Carchio graduated from Brown University in 2020 and captained the Bears to an Ivy League Title in 2019. She finished her time with the Bears as a three-time First Team All-Ivy League honoree.
