2015: Made six appearances off the bench...entered as a substitute at No. 11 South Carolina on Aug. 21...appeared in a 3-0 win over Maine on Sept. 6...registered two shots against the College of Charleston on Oct. 2.

2014: Appeared in 16 games and made seven starts...scored four goals, including one game-winner...scored in the 90th minute of a 3-0 victory at Charleston on Oct. 19...scored the Huskies' first goal in a 2-2 draw vs. Delaware on Oct. 24...scored in the regular season finale on Oct. 26 vs. Drexel, netting the game-winner in the 61st minute to help NU clinch the CAA regular season title...scored for the fourth straight game in the CAA semifinals on Nov. 7 vs. William & Mary.

2013: Appeared in 19 games and started 13...scored three goals and posted 18 shots...netted her first goal of the season on Sept. 22 at UMass...tallied a goal in a 2-0 win against Hofstra on Oct. 5...scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Towson on Oct. 17...scored in the penalty shootout against Delaware in the CAA Quarterfinals on Nov. 3.

2012: Appeared in all 19 games as a freshman, starting 17 on the back line...picked up her first two career points with a pair of assists in the win over Albany (Sept. 16)...scored her first career goal, a game-winner, at Delaware (Oct. 7)...scored in the penalty shootout against Hofstra in the CAA Quarterfinals on Oct. 28.

Before NU: Played four years of varsity soccer at The Pingry School...received First Team All-Conference honors as a junior and senior, and All-Section honors as a senior...helped guide her squad to a 21-1-1 record her senior season and a state finals appearance.

Personal: Shayna Marie Blackwood...born to Mr. Fitzroy and Mrs. Karen Blackwood...ran track as a sprinter in high school...sister, Maxine, plays soccer at NC State...majoring in biochemistry with the hopes of becoming a medical examiner or coroner.
