Tinna Nielsen's career stats

2010: Started in all 18 games...named team captain for the second consecutive season...scored her first collegiate goal in the loss against George Mason (Oct. 8).

2009: Appeared and started in 14 games...missed five games due to injury...part of an NU defense that allowed only 1.21 goals a match and recorded six shutouts...picked up an assist in NU’s 2-0 win over Cincinnati (Aug. 30).

2008: Started all 24 games for the Huskies, playing nearly every minute...named to the CAA All-Tournament team.

2007: Started all 18 games...set up Brenna Matthews’ goal off a corner in NU’s 1-1 tie at New Hampshire...named CAA Rookie of the Week after helping limit No. 28 James Madison to nine shots on goal in the Huskies’ 1-0 win.

High School: Played for the Fortuna Hjoerring team...won the Dana Cup Tournament in 2005 and ’06...team was DBU League champion from 2005-07.
