Biography
2008-09: Indoors, placed 13th in the 400-meter in 1:02.11 at the Harvard Open...at the Boston Indoor Games, placed 10th in the long jump (16'8)...10th in the 400 (1:02.17) at the Colonial Invitational...runner-up in the 400 (1:02.33) at the Husky Spring Invitational...took 10th in the 400 (1:00.60) at the USF Quad Meet.
2007-08: Indoors, took eighth in the 400 in 1:01.75 at the Battle of Beantown...ran on the winning 4x400 relay (3:47.03) at the New England Championship...outdoors, took fifth in the 400 (58.90) at the Seahawk Invitational...took 11th in the 800 (2:39.29) at the Husky Spring Open...took third in the 400 (1:00.02) and sixth in the 200 (26.35) at the Stonehill Invitational...placed 27th in the 400 (59.65) and ran on the eighth-place 4x400 relay (3:51.11) at the CAA Championship.
2006-07: In her collegiate debut, took second in the 400 (59.87) and ran a leg of the winning 4x400 relay at the Husky Winter Carnival...placed sixth in the 400 at the Great Dane Classic...placed fourth in the 400 (59.26) at the Boston Indoor Games...at the New England Championship, made the finals of the 400 with a preliminary time of 58.88...outdoors, took fourth in the 200 (26.74) and sixth in the 800 (2:29.15) at the Solomon Invitational.
High School: Four-year member of the varsity indoor and outdoor track team at Camden High...captained indoor team two years and outdoor team three years...also ran cross country for one season...named All-Group, All-Conference, All-State, All-County and All-America in 2005 and 2006...set school and county record in the triple jump...ran on the state champ 4x400 relay team in 2005...relay team won the New Jersey Meet of Champions in 3:47, took second in the tri-state area section of the Penn Relays and placed sixth at the nationl a championship.
Personal: Born Nov. 24, 1987...major is undecided...hopes to work in sports medicine or to have her own clothing line...enjoys fashion design and the arts...Class of 2011.
