Dana Gobeil

Dana Gobeil enters his third year at Northeastern in 2025-26. He will work closely with the men’s ice hockey and women's field hockey programs.

Gobeil joins the Huskies from Bentley University where he worked in a similar position with the men’s hockey program. Prior to his time with Bentley, he spent four seasons with Merrimack College, working with the men's hockey team as equipment manager in 2021-22 and he served in the same role with the women's hockey team for the three years prior.

Recently, Gobeil served as equipment manager at the 2024 Four Nations with Team USA and at the 2023 USA Hockey-BioSteel Girls Under-18 Select Player Development Camp. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, he also aided at the USA Women's Hockey National Team Development Camps for the U-16 and U-17 teams in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Before Merrimack, Gobeil worked for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats – the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays – as well as the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL). He was the club house/equipment manager for the Fisher Cats and the head equipment manager for the Blades.

A 2010 graduate from the University of New England, Gobeil earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a minor in business. He was a member of the UNE men's ice hockey team and served as team captain and also played on the club baseball team.
