The Huskies took their first conference loss this season to defending America East Champions Boston University on Sunday afternoon 2-0 at Nickerson Field.

Mariel Wilner saved five of seven shots on goal. The first goal for the Terriers came at 5:05 in the first half when sophomore Lauren Erwin found an opening in the left side of the net to put the ball past Wilner.

Boston U. earned their second goal at 48:10 when freshman Alexandra Riccomini's shot at the center of the goal squeezed in just under the crossbar above Wilner to put the Huskies back 0-2.

The Terriers, now 11-3-1 and 3-2-0 in the America East, outshot NU 14-4 in the game. BU's sophomore goalkeeper Stephanie Dreyer recorded two saves.

Northeastern is now 3-1-1 in the league and 9-4-2 overall this season. They host conference opponent Stony Brook next on Fri., Oct. 22 at Parsons Field.
