Women’s Soccer Travels To Stony Brook

BOSTON— Looking to pick up three important CAA points, the Northeastern women's soccer team is hitting the road to face the Stony Brook Seawolves on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. The game will stream live on FloCollege.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. THE CAA RECAP: The Huskies currently sit tied with the Seawolves in third place in the CAA North. The top three teams from each division make playoffs, with the top seed earning a bye and the second and third seeds facing each other in the first round. Northeastern owns a 3-3-1 record in conference with 10 points.
  2. ELIZA TEP-NO: Senior Eliza Teplow owns a 1.35 GAA and .810 save percentage on the season. She has made 85 saves this season, 12 more than any other CAA keeper, and 10th-most in the NCAA. Teplow is averaging 5.67 saves per game, the best mark in the CAA and 29th overall in the country.
  3. WHAT'S A SEAWOLF?: Northeastern owns an 8-4-3 overall record against Stony Brook and won last year's game, 1-0, with a goal from Nicole Bartlett and a shutout from Teplow. The Huskies will be looking for their fifth road win of the year, their most since the 2021 season. The Seawolves sit at 6-3-5 overall and dropped their last game against Drexel, 1-0. Emily Lemke has a team-high six goals and 13 points for the Seawolves.
The Huskies will next close out the regular season hosting Monmouth on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.
