Sophomore midfielder Sofia Palmquist scored first for the Huskies 18 seconds into the game. She ran a give and go down the right side of the field with Rebello and scored with a shot in the bottom left corner. Rebello was credited with the assist.

Junior Emilee Ellison scored her first collegiate goal when she pushed the ball past Delaware goalie E.J. Goldman after a scramble in front of the goal.

Less than a minute in to the second half Caitlyn Germain put the Blue Hens on the board. Emily Sammis took the initial shot which was blocked by Petrofsky and Germain put the rebound in to the bottom left corner.

In the 60th minute Liza Rebello scored her third goal of the season on a breakaway from the Blue Hen defense. She shot the ball from 20-yards out and placed it perfectly in the top right corner.

Rebello added her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 64th minute when she received a pass from defender Hannah Schindler, beat the Delaware defense and scored from 10-yards out.

This is the first time all season the Huskies have won two consecutive games and it nearly doubles their season goal total. They had scored just five goals until tonight when they increased the total to nine.

Northeastern is on the road Sunday with a 1 p.m. game at Drexel. The Huskies return home Thursday with a 3:30 p.m. game at Parsons Field. The seniors will be honored before the game.
