The women's soccer team faced off against Towson at the Towson Center Soccer Complex and fell to the Tigers 1-0.
Towson scored in the just two minutes into the second half when Melissa Gomes crossed the ball into Kaitlyn Zamros who headed the ball in from six yards out.
The Huskies matched Towson with 12 shots but were unable to get one past Tigers keeper Brandi Daniels who had seven saves on the day.
Senior goalie Annie Petrofsky had six saves for Northeastern.
The game was delayed in the second half when junior forward Jenna Lucchesi was injured and was taken to the hospital.
Northeastern is back in action Friday, Oct. 5 against Old Dominion at 6 p.m.
