Box Score • Box Score

Delaware's Tesia Harris scored 25 points and added 10 rebounds as Delaware came back from a halftime deficit to defeat Northeastern 60-49 on Thursday evening. The Blue Hens shot 42 percent in the second half and hit four three pointers to take the win and snap the Huskies' three-game win streak. Kashaia Cannon led Northeastern with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 5-of-8 from three.

The Huskies used the three ball in the first half, connecting on six in the first half at a clip of 50 percent led by Cannon hitting three from distance in the first frame to take a 27-21 lead at the break.

Delaware pushed out to a 15-9 lead early in the game off a fast break lay up from Harris for its largest lead of the half at six points. The Huskies responded with a 10-2 run over 5:53 capped off by a three-point play from Brittany Wilson, who stole the ball in the backcourt off a missed NU shot to drive in for the lay up, drawing the foul in the process.

A pair of Delaware free throws promptly tied the game, and Jocelyn Bailey's jumper took the lead back for the Blue Hens. Wilson's lay up in transition evened up the game at 21-all and sparked an 8-0 run to end the half.

The Huskies shot 40 percent from the field while holding Delaware to 34 percent. Cannon led NU with nine first half points while Wilson had eight. Danielle Parker led Delaware with eight points in the first half.

Northeastern extended its lead to 30-21 with a Wilson lay up to start the second half, but Delaware would close the game scoring five straight points out of the under-16 media timeout to cut the margin to two points. Cannon hit a jumper to bring it back to two possessions, but Delaware's Lauren Carra knocked down a three-pointer to make it 33-32 with 14:10 left. Jasmine Gibson's jumper gave the Blue Hens their first lead of the half, but Dani Iervolino responded with a three for the Huskies to put Northeastern back on to 36-34.

Delaware tied the game once more on Jaquetta May's lay up and took the lead for good with Kayla Miller's three-pointer at 10:16. The Blue Hens pushed out to a 42-36 lead, but the Huskies put up six points off a Carr three-point play and Cannon three to bring the score to 46-44 with 4:44 left in the game. Delaware pushed away at the free throw line, with Tesia Harris hitting nine of Delaware's last 13 free throws. Cannon's three with 1:10 left brought the Huskies to within five, but it was as close as the team would get as the Blue Hens sealed an 11-point win.

The Huskies made nine threes for the game, but were out-rebounded 40-22. Both Carr and Wilson finished with 10 points for Northeastern who fall to 12-15 overall and 7-9 in league play. Delaware improves to 18-9 and 10-6 in the CAA.
