BOSTON – Freshman
Aerin Frankel pitched her second shutout in the last three games with a superb 39-save performance as the Northeastern women's hockey team (7-6-2, 5-3-1 WHEA) skated to a 3-0 victory over Maine (8-6-1, 3-3-1 WHEA) on Saturday afternoon at Matthews Arena.
Freshman
Skylar Fontaine, senior
McKenna Brand and redshirt junior
Taytum Clairmont scored for Northeastern as the Huskies extended their unbeaten streak to three straight games.
The NU power-play converted once in four chances, while the penalty kill negated all five Maine opportunities on the day.

McKenna Brand stripped Maine's Allyson Matteau at center ice and raced in on the right wing, before wristing a shot inside the left post for an unassisted tally.
•
Taytum Clairmont put the icing on the cake with 25 seconds remaining with an empty-net goal, taking a feed from
Maddie Hartman and depositing the disc into the gaping cage from center ice.
