DURHAM, N.H. – Nicole Dunbar scored with 52 seconds remaining in overtime to give New Hampshire (7-5-5, 5-2-3 WHEA) a 2-1 win over the Northeastern women's hockey team (9-9-1, 5-6-1 WHEA) on Friday evening at the Whittemore Center.

• New Hampshire took the lead just over three minutes into the second period when Carlee Turner sprung Meghara McManus on a 3-on-1 break. McManus skated in on the left wing and ripped a shot over the glove of
Brittany Bugalski from the low slot to make it 1-0 Wildcats.
• The Huskies tied the score in the final minute of the frame. After a faceoff win by
Tori Sullivan,
McKenna Brand wristed a shot at the net that was blocked down in front of the cage. Crashing the net, Sullivan fired the bouncing puck off the pad of UNH netminder Kyra Smith and then poked the rebound home, inside the left post with 58.2 ticks showing on the second period clock.
• The Wildcats won the game 4:08 into overtime when Nicole Dunbar forced a turnover behind the NU net and beat Bugalski with a wrap-around at the left post.
