ALBANY, N.Y. – Northeastern entered Thursday night's match at Albany with hopes of maintaining its 7-0-0 all-time record against the Great Danes, but was unable to keep up with Albany's attacking surge going into the second half of the match.

Kerri Zerfoss sent in NU's first shot on goal during the 31st minute, closely followed by Chelsea Domond's high drive that soared just above the net five minutes later.

During the 78th minute, Mikenna McManus fed the ball up to Hannah Rosenblatt, who sent a blast towards the high center of the net to bring Northeastern onto the scoreboard.

Nicole Gorman nearly saw the back of the net after her 82nd-minute attempt was saved, which was followed by another attempt moments later that ended up going wide.

UP NEXT

Northeastern will travel to Cambridge on Sunday, Sept. 16, to face off against the Harvard Crimson.
