ELON, N.C.— A two goal effort from junior defender
Mikenna McManus helped push the Northeastern women's soccer team to a regular season finale victory over Elon, 4-0. With the win, Northeastern has locked up the No. 4 seed in the CAA tournament.

In a game of many firsts for the Huskies, McManus had the first multi-goal game of her career,
Tatiana Ortega claimed two assists in one game for the first time and
Ashley Reuter scored her first career goal. Meanwhile,
Chelsea Domond tacked on her seventh goal of the season.

McManus' first goal came in the 58th minute of action and led to an eruption of Northeastern (8-9-1, 5-3-1 CAA) goals, as three goals followed her first. The four-goal second half, mark the most goals the Huskies have scored in the second half this season.

Megan Adams notched her fourth shutout of the season and had four saves on the day to lead an impressive defensive effort from the Huskies.

Overall, the Huskies outshot Elon (11-5-2, 5-3-1 CAA) 15-7 and led in corner kicks 7-2.
