BROOKLINE, Mass.— Jacob Marin-Thomson scored the first goal of his career, but the Northeastern men's soccer team fell to the Yale Bulldogs, 2-1, in its final nonconference match of the season.

Marin-Thomson scored the lone goal of the evening for the Huskies in the 46th minute of action, just 35 seconds after Yale (10-2-2, 3-1-0 IVY) claimed its second goal of the day. His goal came as
Bernardo Gracindo took a free kick that a Yale player headed down before Marin-Thomson was able to one time it and score.

Chandler Cree had four saves on the evening, with two coming in each half.
Jack Monte led Northeastern (6-7-3, 3-2-2) in shots with two.

Yale's Aldo Quevedo scored just eight minutes into the match, and Eric Lagos had the second goal of the day for the  Bulldogs in the 46th minute.
