HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.— The Northeastern men's soccer team fell in its regular season finale to the Hofstra Pride, 3-0, on Saturday Night at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. Despite the loss, the Huskies have locked up the No. 5 seed in the CAA tournament.
Goalkeeper
Chandler Cree faced eight shots from the Pride and made five saves in his 90 minutes of action. His five saves are just one off his season-high.
Adama Kaba led the Huskies with two shots, while
Bernardo Gracindo and
Jacob Marin-Thomson each attempted a shot on goal.
Northeastern (6-8-3, 3-3-2 CAA) conceded one goal in the first half and two in the second as Hofstra (8-6-2, 5-2-1 CAA) outpaced the Huskies. The Huskies are headed to their second conference tournament in a row.
