HARRISONBURG, Va.— The Northeastern women's soccer team dropped a 4-3 decision to the James Madison Dukes on Sunday afternoon at Sentara Park in Harrisonburg, Va.

Northeastern (4-8-1, 1-2-1 CAA) had two first half goals, as
Kerri Zerfoss kept with the recent theme of the Huskies scoring early, putting one in the back of the net in the 14th minute.
Chelsea Domond played the ball into JMU's box and it was deflected by a JMU defender to Zerfoss's feet, who capitalized and put the Huskies up 1-0.

James Madison (4-8-1, 1-1-1 CAA) was able to get one back after Ginger Deel scored off of a corner kick for the Dukes in the 30th minute.
Olivia Ware scored her first goal of the day on a breakaway from the counter-attack to put Northeastern ahead 2-1 in the 42nd minute.

The second half began with Domond being shown a red in the 51st minute, forcing the Huskies to play a man down for the rest of the match. Just one minute later, Ware found the back of the net as a miscue by the Dukes gave Ware her second goal of the day, and the Huskies led 3-1. Ware's goal was assisted by
Kayla McCauley and Zerfoss.

James Madison would go on to score three unanswered goals to claim the eventual 4-3 victory. Iris Rabot got one in the 62nd minute, and just five minutes later Ashby Larkin scored for the Dukes to tie things up at 3-3. Annie Sorando had the game-winner for JMU in the 81st minute.

Megan Adams finished the day with three saves, and denied the Dukes on a PK chance in the second half.
