WAKEFIELD, Mass.— After a three-point performance against New Hampshire, freshman forward
Peyton Anderson of the No. 4 Northeastern women's hockey team was named the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week as announced by the league on Monday.
Anderson potted her first career goals in the 5-1 win over New Hampshire, including the game-winner for the Huskies. The Arvada, Colorado native also added on an assist for a three-point outing.
The rookie followed her three-point outing with a start in the closing game of the series against UNH, where the Huskies pulled out a 1-0 victory.
Anderson and the Huskies are back in action on Tuesday making the short trek to No. 6 Boston College, puck drop is slated for 6 p.m.
