FIRST HALF

After scoring just five points in the first 10 minutes of play, James Madison raced out on an 8-0 run, thanks to back-to-back treys, over a 90 second span to make it a 23-13 game. But that run was ended by a Gresham 3-pointer to give the Huskies a 26-13 lead with eight minutes to go in the half.
The Dukes, who were down 18 at one point in the first half, finished the half on a 9-1 run to make it a 33-26 game at halftime.
SECOND HALF
James Madison added a trio of baskets, to Green's lone layup to make it a 35-33 game with 17:50 to go, eventually getting within one, 37-36, with 16:23 remaining in the game. The differential was the closest since the Huskies led 3-2 with 19:02 to go in the first half.
But a Green dunk, a Pusica layup, a Roland trey and a Green and-one completed a 10-2 run to give the Huskies some breathing room and a 47-38 lead with 11:46 to go.
Back-to-back treys by Gresham and Brace followed by a fastbreak layup from Murphy built the Huskies' lead back up to 15 with exactly eight minutes remaining in the half and Northeastern only continued to add to its lead en route to the 76-60 victory.
