Aerin Frankel made 32 saves to lead the No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 3-0 victory over UConn on Saturday afternoon at Freitas Ice Forum. The Huskies have now claimed four shutout victories in a row, a feat never before accomplished in program history.

Northeastern (19-3-1, 16-2-0 HEAW) has not given up a goal in 240 minutes of action over the past four games. With the shutout today, Frankel claimed her seventh shutout of the season and 16th overall.

Pettey got the scoring started for the Huskies as she buried two goals in the first period.
Chloe Aurard closed out the scoring, notching her third short-handed goal of the season at the 19:23 mark in the second period to push the final score to 3-0. Aurard is now tied with BC's Delaney Belinskas for an NCAA-best three short-handed goals.

Megan Carter finished with a career-best seven blocks in the game as the Huskies combined for 20 blocks during the game. UConn (12-11-1, 9-7-1) outshot Northeastern 32-30.
