- Tyson Walker scored a career-high 32 points and Jordan Roland finished with 17 to lead Northeastern (9-6, 3-0 CAA) to a 77-68 win over Elon (4-11, 0-2 CAA) on Thursday night inside Matthews Arena. The Huskies are riding an eight-game home court winning streak in league play, and are 12-1 over their last 13 home league games.

The Huskies led by as many as 14 points early in the second half, but the 3-point shooting from Elon brought the Phoenix within two, 68-66, with 2:26 remaining in the game. Walker had the answer all night long for Northeastern, making a pair of jumpers to lead an 8-0 run as the Huskies went back up by double digits, 76-66, with just 24 seconds left to hold off Elon's comeback try.

Marcus Sheffield II led a trio of Elon players in double figures with 19. Hunter McIntosh finished with 17 and Hunter Woods added 12.
