BOSTON - Jayden Struble,
Ty Jackson and
Zach Solow all had goals, while
Aidan McDonough had the lone shootout tally to lead No.10 Northeastern (2-0-1) to a 3-3 shootout victory over No.19 Providence (1-2-1) on Saturday afternoon at Matthews Arena. That was Struble's first goal of the season, plus he added an assist and was on ice for all three of the Huskies goals.
Zach Solow now has three goals on the season and
Ty Jackson has a pair.

Austin Goldstein and
Steven Agriogianis all had helpers as
Connor Murphy stopped 36 on the day for his first shootout win and the Huskies first Hockey East shootout win since 1996 and first shootout win since 2013.
Providence was led by Greg Pintz with a goal and an assist and Tyce Thompson with two assists. Jaxson Stauber had 27 saves.
Northeastern is back at it against Providence tomorrow in the second game of the home-and-home series on NESN at 3:30pm from Schneider Arena.
