No. 10 Huskies Fall for First Time This Season to No. 19 Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. –
 Connor Murphy stopped 30 including a two-man breakaway to help lead No.10 Northeastern (2-1-1) in a 5-0 loss at No.19 Providence (2-2-1) on Sunday afternoon. It is the first defeat for the Huskies this season.

Providence had two power play goals, one extra attacker goal, an empty net goal and a 4-on-4 goal. Parker Ford, Tyce Thompson, Jason O'Neill, Greg Printz and Craig Needham all lit the lamp for the Friars as Jaxson Stauber stopped 28.
 
Northeastern looks to get back on track next week.
