Brandon Dufault tossed 3.0 strong innings in relief, striking out three, as Northeastern (0-3) dropped a 6-3 decision to Alabama (3-0) on Sunday at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Huskies jumped out in front 3-0 in the top of the first inning, only to see the Crimson Tide respond with two runs in the bottom half and three more over the next two innings to complete the series sweep.

Sebastian Keane (0-1) made his debut for the Huskies, throwing 75 pitches over 3.0 innings, allowing five runs and struck out two. RHP

Cam Schlittler each tossed a scoreless inning for Northeastern.
UA's Owen Diodati homered for the third time in the series, going 3-for-3 and drove in a game-high three runs. LHP Antoine Jean (1-0) earned the win on the mound, throwing 4.0 innings, scattering four hits and struck out two. RHP Chase Lee picked up his first save of the season, tossing 2.0 scoreless innings and fanned four.
The Huskies will take on the Boston Red Sox in an exhibition game in Fort Myers, Fla. at Jet Blue Park on Friday. Game time is set for 1:05 p.m. and will be televised on NESN.
