BURLINGTON, Vt.— Biagio Lerario and
Matt DeMelis each scored goals to lead No. 12 Northeastern (17-11-3, 10-10-1 Hockey East) in a 4-2 loss at Vermont (4-22-6, 1-17-4 Hockey East) on Friday night at Gutterson Fieldhouse.
DeMelis also had an assist, plus
Aidan McDonough added two assists for the Huskies while
Jordan Harris had his 18
th helper of the season.
Craig Pantano made 30 saves on the night.
Alex Esposito netted two goals for the Catamounts, while Derek Lodermeier and Ace Cowans also lit the lamp for Vermont.
The Huskies will try and bounce back on Saturday with a 7 p.m. puck drop inside Gutterson Fieldhouse.
