  BOSTON— The No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team will take on the No. 10 Harvard Crimson in the 42nd annual Women's Beanpot this Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 5 p.m. in Boston University's Walter Brown Arena. The game will be available on NESNplus and CBS All Access.
 
The Women's Beanpot Hall of Fame Class of 2020 will be inducted between opening round games with a ceremony on Feb. 4. A 2012 Beanpot MVP, Casey Pickett Bates '13 will be inducted from Northeastern.  
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. Know Your (Beanpot) History: Winners of a record 16 Women's Beanpot titles, the No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team will look to capture its first tournament crown since 2013 when the 42nd Beanpot begins Tuesday at Boston University's Walter Brown Arena.  Northeastern is 48-30-5 all-time in the Beanpot, including a 26-12-4 record in the opening round.

  2. Scouting Harvard: The Crimson enter this game at 12-8-1 overall, most recently defeating Dartmouth, 4-0. Dominique Petrie leads the Crimson with 27 points off 12 goals and 15 assists. Kristin Delle Rovere sits second on Harvard with 24 points (15 G, 9 A). Lindsay Reed has seen the bulk of play for the Crimson between the pipes, owning an 8-7-1 record. Reed has a .915 save percentage and 3.00 GAA on the season. The Huskies and Crimson have not met since the 2018 Beanpot, where Harvard walked away with a 4-3 victory in the consolation game.

  3. Regular Season Champs: Following a 3-2 OT victory win over UConn, the Huskies clinched the regular season Hockey East crown for the second year in a row and third time overall. Additionally, the Huskies claimed the No. 1 seed in the Hockey East Tournament.

The Huskies will return to Hockey East action and will travel to take on Merrimack on Friday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m.
