ORONO, Maine –
Zach Solow had his 12
th goal of the season and extended his goal scoring streak to three games as the #12 Huskies (15-8-2, 8-7-1 Hockey East) lose a tough one 4-2 to the Black Bears (15-9-4, 9-7-2) at Alfond Arena.
Tyler Madden pushed his point streak to eight-games with an assist.
Matt DeMelis also lit the lamp for the Huskies with his sixth and
Ryan Shea,
Jordan Harris &
Julian Kislin all had assists on the night.
Craig Pantano added 32 saves between the pipes.
Maine had goals by four different skaters on their way to the victory. Jacob Schmidt-Svejstrup had two assists for the Black Bears on the night.
The Huskies will play for a program-record third straight Beanpot championship on Monday night at TD Garden against Boston University. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on NESN and will air on Boston's Home for Sports 98.5 FM.
