Spenser Smith smashed his first home run of the season to drive in three to lead Northeastern (9-5) to a series win over Florida Atlantic (9-6), 6-1, on Sunday at the FAU Baseball Stadium. The Huskies used a five-run fourth inning to grab control of the game.
Keane has won three straight on the mound and improves to 3-1 on the season.

Brandon Dufault retired all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.
The Huskies broke the scoreless tie in the fourth inning with five runs, all with two outs, highlighted by a three-run home run by Smith. Northeastern pitchers combined to limit FAU to just two singles in the game, and struck out seven.
Northeastern will host Hartford this Wednesday at 3 p.m. for its home opener at Friedman Diamond. All baseball games are free admission and fans can reach out for parking passes
