Sebastian Restrepo curled in a goal as Northeastern men's soccer (9-3-1, 3-1-0 CAA) cruised to a 4-0 victory over Brown (3-7-0, 1-1-0 Ivy) at Parsons Field on Tuesday night.
- Massoud slotted the first goal home at a tight angle thanks to a long through ball by sophomores Zach Sauer (1) and Evensky Berleus (2). It was Massoud's third on the season and second in consecutive games.
- In the second half, Jack Monte (3) started the goal parade as the senior headed in a corner kick from senior Dan Munch to double the Huskies lead in the 68th minute.
- Massoud wasn't done either, as he finished off a chance in the 73rd minute that was handed to him by senior Benjamin Klingen (4) and junior Federico Tellez (8). The assist gives Tellez a share of the CAA assist lead and ties him for second in all of Division I.
- Restrepo earned his first career goal with a scorching shot that bent perfectly around the Brown goalkeeper to give the freshman his first career collegiate goal. Sophomore goalkeeper Colby Hegarty got his first career assist thanks to his booming punt that Restrepo put in.
- Hegarty earned the first shutout of his career as the keeper stopped five shots for the Huskies, who turned in their first shutout all year.
- This four-goal performance is the highest-scoring game the Huskies have had all season.
The Huskies have now played three of four games in this homestand. In their final one, they'll take on Elon on Saturday, October 16 at Parsons Field at 2 p.m. on
