In-Arena Policies For 2021-22
On October 15, Northeastern University and the athletics department, in its continued commitment to maintaining the health and safety of the Northeastern community, announced a series of policies for indoor athletic events for the 2021-22 season.
Â
To attend an in-person event, please be prepared to:
• Present proof of full vaccination for COVID-19, two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose vaccine series, or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. For current Northeastern students, faculty and staff, presenting a valid Husky Card meets this requirement. For the public, proof may be the original CDC vaccination record card, a copy of said record, or a mobile photograph of the card.Â
• Present a matching photo identification card with the same name as the COVID-19 vaccination card (State Issued Driver's License, State Issued ID Card or Passport).
• Any individuals who are not fully vaccinated, or cannot locate their vaccination record, may instead produce a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) with the negative test result and collection date and time stamp within 72 hours of the event. Tests must be administered by a healthcare professional that includes their name and the date of the test as proof. Self-administered at-home rapid/antigen tests will not be accepted.
• In accordance with the City of Boston's indoor mask mandate, all guests over the age of 2 regardless of vaccination or COVID-19 negative test status are required to wear a mask that completely covers their nose and mouth at all times. Guests may only remove their masks when actively eating or drinking. Â
Â
• Guests failing to adhere the policies listed above may be subject to disciplinary measures including removal from the venue.
