Gwyneth Philips made her first start of the year as the Northeastern women's hockey team (2-1-0, 2-1-0 Hockey East) fell to the Boston University Terriers (3-0-0, 3-0-0 Hockey East) by a score of 2-1.
- Philips made 24 saves in her first start of the 2021-22 season.
- Skylar Fontaine put on a shooting show, putting the puck on target a team-leading 11 times.
- Skylar Irving had a great day at the faceoff circle, winning the puck for the Huskies 12 times, and losing only four.
- Murphy's goal came 18:37 into the second period on a feed from Fontaine and Andrea Renner. It was Renner's first point of the season.
- All three goals in the contest came on the power play.
