BOSTON – Northeastern Women's Basketball Head Coach
Bridgette Mitchell excitedly announced the addition of three on Saturday for the 2022-2023 season.
"All three young women come from competitive backgrounds. Their ability to produce in tough environments and uphold their academic prowess will make great additions to our program!"

Oralye Kiefer
Kiefer, a senior from Wayland High School, is an EIL Honorable Mention (2019-20), NEPSAC All-Star (2019-20) and was tabbed MVP of her team. Kiefer won the NEPSAC Championship with her high school team that was also EIL League and Tournament Champions (2019-20).
Coach Mitchell on Kiefer: "Oralye is a 6'3" Forward with guard-like skills. She can play and defend multiple positions, and is really talented on both ends of the floor. Her ability to shoot the 3 will really help to stretch defenses, and make us even more challenging to guard."

Marian Turnbull
Turnbull, a senior from Mt. Lebanon High School, is a Second Team All-Section honoree, and was tabbed to the All-Nova Private Second Team (VA). Turnbull won the WPIAL Championship in 2021 with her Chartiers Valley team in 2021, leads the ISL in assists, and has had four double-doubles in a regular season.
Coach Mitchell on Turnbull: "Marian is a 5'6" PG that is going to come in and be a creator for others. Her vision, IQ and ability to put teammates in scoring position will be a huge asset."

Ariana Webb
Webb, a senior from Moreau Catholic High School, is a proven leader on the court, playing a variety of positions on the varsity basketball team since her freshman year. Webb averaged 20 points per game, five rebounds and three assists with Team Militant on the Under Armour Circuit. The Hayward, California native was ranked all four years on the NorCal Preps Girls Basketball Ranking, and has made seven three-point shots in a game.
Coach Mitchell on Webb: "Ariana is a 5'8" Wing that is very athletic and can play multiple positions. She has a high motor, and the ability to defend multiple positions. Her offensive skill set will elevate our guard play."
