Durham, N.H.-- Chelsea Domond posted two shots on goal to lead Northeastern (0-1, 0-0 CAA) in a 1-0 loss against the University of New Hampshire (1-0, 0-0 American East) on Sunday afternoon at Tucker Field. The Huskies outshot the Wildcats, 6-5.

Angeline Friel made four saves for the Huskies, while Mikenna McManus and Kayla McCauley earned two shots a piece. McManus also posted six corner kick attempts during her 90 minutes of play. 

Freshman Allie Vazquez made her collegiate debut starting for the Huskies back line, while Gaby Scarlett and Eleanor Fisher also saw action in their first collegiate match for Northeastern. 

The Huskies host their first home match of the 2020-21 season against the University of Lowell on Thursday Feb. 25 at 6 p.m.
