Alexis Legowski and
Chelsea Domond each posted a goal to lead Northeastern (1-1-1 CAA) into a 2-0 win against UMass Lowell (0-1-1 America East) on Thursday night at Parsons Field. The Huskies earned four shots on goal.
Legowski notched a goal early in the first half off a header from
Mikenna McManus's corner kick to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead.
Chelsea Domond followed suit as she knocked in another goal for Northeastern as Legoswki fed her a solid through ball to put one right past UMass's goalkeeper.
Angeline Friel earned her second shutout of the season as she made eight saves for the Huskies.
Northeastern will head to Storrs, Conn. on Sunday to face UConn, kickoff is at Noon.
