BROOKLINE, Mass. - Northeastern women's soccer (3-2-1, 0-0-0 CAA) played to a scoreless draw with the UMass Minutewomen (3-2-2, 0-0-0 A10) on Sunday afternoon at Parsons Field.
- Northeastern had several offensive chances, leading in shots on goal 4-1. The Huskies led in total shots 23-7.
- 11 of NU's 23 total shots came in the second half.
- Junior forward Halle McCabe led the way for Northeastern with a team-high two shots on target.
- The Huskies also led in corner kicks with a total of seven to UMass' three.
- Northeastern saw a dual-goalie effort to notch its fourth shutout of the season; NU starting goalkeeper Megan Adams played the first half and commanded the back line well, not needing to make a save.
- UMass' lone shot on net was saved in the 83rd minute by junior goalkeeper Angeline Friel.
The Huskies will be back in action this Wednesday evening, September 15th at Parsons, facing local rival Harvard at 6 P.M. on
