Benjamin Klingen contributed a score in the 63rd minute to secure a 2-1 victory for Northeastern men's soccer (4-1-1, 1-0-0 CAA) over the Harvard Crimson (1-1-1, 0-0-0 Ivy) at Jordan Field at Harvard on Tuesday evening.
- Monte and Klingen both scored their first goals of the season in the win.
- Junior midfielder Federico Tellez assisted the game-winning goal on a corner kick while Jacob Marin-Thomson set up Klingen's strike.
- The Huskies had a total of 30 shots compared to Harvard's 17, the most recorded by NU since at least 2003.
- The Huskies also registered more shots on target than Harvard by a margin of 11-7.
- NU dominated the offensive end with nine corner kicks compared to just four for the Crimson.
- Junior goalkeeper Colby Hegarty contributed six saves in the effort, conceding just once in the 15th minute.
- Senior forward Dan Munch made an impact on offense with five shots, including two on target.
