BOX SCORE (PDF)

PROVIDENCE, R.I.
— Freshman defender Katherine Marchesseault scored a penalty-kick goal in the 64th minute but that was all Northeastern women's soccer (3-4-1, 0-0-0 CAA) could muster as they lost 3-1 to Brown (5-3-0, 0-0-0 Ivy) on Sunday afternoon in Providence, R.I.
  • Marchesseault put a free kick from the defensive half into the box where Mikenna McManus was able to win a penalty for the Huskies.
  • Earning her first goal on the year, Marchesseault buried a penalty kick in the back of the Brown net.
  • Both the Huskies and the Bears had six shots on goal.
