LOWELL, Mass. — Junior forward
Halle McCabe had three shots on goal and senior midfielder registered one, but Northeastern women's soccer (3-2-0, 0-0-0 CAA) weren't able to overcome UMass Lowell (2-2-1, 0-0-0 America East) in the 1-0 loss on Sunday evening.
- McCabe's three shots led all players on both teams.
- The defense only allowed two shots on goal and conceded just five corner kicks compared to the Huskies' eight.
- The Huskies outshot UMass Lowell 7-6 and had four shots on goal to the River Hawks' two.
- Graduate student goalkeeper Megan Adams made one save on the evening, facing just two shots.
- Junior midfielders Porter Dooley and Alexis Legowski each added a shot.
The Huskies will return home to Parsons Field in Brookline, Mass. to take on UMass on
FloFC at 1 p.m. on Sep. 12.Â
