
BOSTON— Northeastern women's ice hockey senior
Alina Mueller and alumnae Denisa Krizova have been named to the Swiss Olympic Ice Hockey Team and Czech Olympic Ice Hockey Team, respectively, for the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
Alina Mueller
- Current assistant captain for the Huskies, Mueller has tallied 178 points in her Northeastern career thus far, the second-best mark in program history.
- Skating in just 13 games so far this season, Mueller has tallied five goals and 18 assists for 23 points.
- Mueller is now a three-time Olympian, after helping Switzerland to a bronze medal in 2014 at just 15-years-old. In 2018, Mueller set the record for the most goals scored in a single game during the Olympics with four goals, en route to helping the Swiss take fifth-place in the tournament.
Denisa Krizova '18
- Krizova is a first-time Olympian and the Beijing Olympics mark the first time the Czech team have ever qualified for the Olympics
- Finished her Northeastern career as the sixth-highest scorer in program history with 169 points.
- Krizova represented her country during the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championships where she scored one goal and tallied three assists.
