BROOKLINE, Mass. - In a Saturday night CAA match up at Parsons Field, the Northeastern men's soccer team (3-4-3, 2-2-1 CAA) fell to the UNCW Seahawks (4-1-4, 3-0-2 CAA) by a 1-0 score.
- The Huskies held a large percentage of the possession to open the game, tallying a total of six shots in the first half, the first of which was on goal in the first few minutes of the contest.
- The possession evened out to a 54-46 percentage in favor of the Huskies at half time, with a 6-0 shot advantage.
- The Seahawks tallied their two shots on goal in the second frame, late in the contest.
- UNCW's goal came in the 86th minute off a throw in, to give the Seahawks the 1-0 lead.
- The Huskies had just one corner kick late in the contest, UNCW had four.
- The game saw a total of six bookings, three for each team.
The Huskies return to non-conference play this coming Tuesday, October 4, when they face Brown at 7pm on ESPN+.
